Lundgrens Norrland White Portion greets you with an instantaneous flavor release thanks to the tiny holes on each pouch. The flavors are that of a gentle tobacco character accompanied by a slight sweetness which is probably due to the delightful floral element. You will also notice hints of herbs and a touch of salt to accentuate the flavors.

Most white products are known for having a slow flavor and nicotine release that can sometimes take a few minutes to come on properly. This issue is solved by the delightful, tiny holes on each sachet and fortunately, they are designed so cleverly that they don't even leak any tobacco. Of course, you will still enjoy the perks of a white snus – minimal dripping! Fiedler and Lundgren described these sachets as bringing you closer to the tobacco experience, which I think is a great definition of the experience.

With most affordable snus products you end up having to compromise on something; taste, quality or perhaps the nicotine release. With the Lundgren series you will do no more compromising. You can simply sit back and enjoy a fantastic product – at a great price.

Very Good Product

This is my 2nd daily snus on rotation and is quite good. The flavor is pine-centric, very earthy and woodsy with a hint of pepper or something similar. This is a great compromise if you don't love berry or floral centric snus, but enjoy the Lundgrens product line. The price is fantastic, in my opinion the best value on the snus market. In addition, Lundgren's also has the BEST CAN you can get. The expandable catch lid is a legit innovation and is a massive bonus over traditional catch lids. The bag material is perforated, which took a little to get used to, but it's comfortable and does indeed work as intended. I will note these do get juicy over time, so this is not an endurance snus. The Norrland here has less nicotine, so I can pop these in my upper lip all day without worry. Very great product!

Not Bad

While not bad at all, nothing exciting with this tobacco-centric snus. Perhaps my palette is not refined enough after a decade of heavy mint usage. This is a snus I could take or leave. It’s quite salty and there seems to be slight peppery taste but not nearly as much as with General White, which, in my opinion, is a good thing. The portion material is fabulous, they really a hit a home run on that front.  There are some very subtle background notes that I am having a hard time pinpointing and look forward to continuing to sample this snus further to see if it grows on me. I have a strong preference for original portions over white and did not realize this snus comes in original portion with a higher nicotine content, I will definitely throw a can of that in my next order. I would be thrilled  to find a Lundgrens  I could fall in love with because it is clearly a premium product at a bargain price and the sachets are a thing of beauty. I’ll review their other offerings as I try them.
